Bloxworth Village Club was intending to open for a celebration on the 1st August, however the Committee has decided that this is the opportune time to refurbish the club. So the exciting news is that we are not opening yet but hope when we do you will come and celebrate with us- a new sparkling modernised look!
We hope all our members will be pleased with the news. The present decor dates back over 40 years and was the height of club decoration then, but it is tired and and we want to face the next 40 as well prepared as the previous members have done.
So watch this space for our Grand Opening, if you are not a member but want to join do contact us. Everyone is very welcome.
BLOXWORTH VILLAGE CLUB TURNS 60!
This year (hopefully!) there will be events at the Club to commemorate and celebrate the 60 years that the Club has been running. Watch out for these on the Events page!
Bloxworth Village Club is a Members Club located in the quiet village of Bloxworth between Poole and Bere Regis, just north of the A35 in Dorset.
The Club was founded in 1960 by a small band of villagers eager to see the recently closed Bloxworth School put to good use. In earlier times it was an important watering hole for local farm-workers, thirsty after a day’s real work! It first opened on the 5th October 1960. As a replacement for the old village hall (a corrugated iron building demolished many years ago), the new Memorial Hall (to the rear of the Club) provides facilities for villagers and those farther afield.
The Club caters for member’s Weddings, Parties, Meetings and any other suitable function. The Hall also houses a fine skittle alley, which is also available for hire.
New members are always welcome; click here for Membership forms.
Subscriptions for 2020 are now due! We’ve avoided any increase this year: only £10 or £5 for OAPs

Opening Hours: The Club is open each evening from Wednesday to Saturday, 7:30-11:00pm. On quiet evenings, we may close early at our discretion.
